About the Role
As Senior Coordinator, Graduate Research Examinations you will lead a team that delivers end-to-end management of graduate research examinations across the University. You will:
- Manage the examination process, including coordination of Joint PhD examinations with international partners
- Lead continuous process and policy improvements for examination procedures and workflows
- Provide high-level advice and support to academic and administrative stakeholders
- Ensure operational excellence through staff supervision, system enhancements, and service deliver
- Inter campus travel will be required as part of this position to the other La Trobe University campus from time to time
This role reports to the Graduate Research Operations Manager and plays a key role in upholding the University’s academic integrity and international research standing.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in student or research administration, preferably in a graduate research setting
- Demonstrated team management experience, with strong leadership and performance management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A strategic mindset, with capacity to interpret and apply policy in complex situations
- Confidence working across digital systems and student databases (e.g., SIS)
