About the position
This position is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of high-quality online short courses. Reporting to the Manager, Online Education Design, this role offers curriculum design support to various stakeholders, including Executive Education, Schools, and HR. Key duties include designing best-practice online courses, anticipating stakeholder needs, providing expert advice, supporting local course delivery, collaborating with the Online Education Design team, and ensuring continuous improvement and accountability in online short course programs.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will have:
- Undergraduate qualification in any field and significant experience in education design, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training, and/or experience.
- Specialist expertise in designing and delivering targeted, engaging online subjects and courses, particularly using SCORM packages.
- Proven ability to deliver effective, evidence-based professional development activities in online learning across various approaches and disciplines.
- Experience in developing interactive, authentic, user-centred online learning activities.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly, develop and implement effective project delivery plans, and manage priorities within a matrix team environment.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively with both academic and professional colleagues and stakeholders.
