Our Opportunity
 
We have an opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team in a full time, permanent role.
 
Based in our Cremorne Head Office and reporting to our Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for processing all facets of the payroll whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and providing ad-hoc administrative assistance as required.
Liaising directly with stakeholders across the wider business and employees, you will be a strong communicator with high attention to detail and a customer focused mindset.   
 
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team and have the opportunity to build strong relationships within a fast paced fashion retail environment.
 
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing payroll for our stores and distribution centre accurately and efficiently
  • Manage and resolve Team Member queries
  • Reconcile and produce final single touch payroll file
  • Action end of month processes, and providing relevant reports and payment requisitions
  • Data analysis in accordance with legislation and business practices
  • Accurately calculating and processing leave entitlements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • Previous experience in a Payroll position (retail industry highly advantageous)
  • System knowledge of ADP Payforce or E-tivity advantageous 
  • Intermediate skills across MS Office suite
  • Award interpretation skills (preferably General Retail Industry Award)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer Service focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
