General Manager Gaming Guest Development & Experience – Sydney Leadership

The General Manager Gaming Guest Development & Experience reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer The Star Sydney and oversees the premium gaming business and guest services desks across the casino.    

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can lead the development and execution of integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with key business objectives. 

 

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Formulate and implement proactive approaches to identify new business opportunities
  • Devise and execute strategies to effectively develop and expand key customer segments
  • Develop an organisational strategy emphasising customer-centric initiatives, driving the company to prioritise and elevate the customer experience
  • Design and implement innovative initiatives to tailor and personalise the guest experience and foster deeper connections and engagement
  • Cultivate a welcoming and exceptional in-room atmosphere specifically designed to cater to the needs of premium guests, promoting a positive and friendly environment that exceeds expectations

 

What we will be looking for: 

  • Minimum 7 years of management experience - gaming environment preferred
  • Previous local and/or domestic casino relationship marketing experience preferred
  • Tertiary business qualifications preferred
  • Commercial acumen strongly aligned with achieving results
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire your team and share strategic plans in a way that is easily understood and guides operational performance

You are a results-driven senior leader with a strong track record in cultivating customer-centric cultures and leveraging data and analytics to shape and execute strategies that grow key customer segments. You proactively identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and manage expenditure to ensure alignment with strategic and budgetary goals. Committed to team development, you lead with integrity and foster a culture of innovation.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Premium Guest Development & Experience programs.
