The Demi Chef reports directly to the Sous Chef and offers an energetic and exciting hands-on approach to flawless product execution in an environment focused on safety and culinary excellence.

A few of your responsibilities:
- Support or lead the assigned section as directed by the Sous Chef and provide training to junior staff members.
- Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Complete all duties in line with company and statutory hygiene requirements
- Meet requirements for consistency and high quality in a fast-paced environment
What we are looking for:
- Culinary School Graduate. Received apprenticeship training in Pastry
- Proficiency with diverse food preparation techniques and cooking equipment.
- 2 years of experience post apprenticeship in food preparation, preferably in a café, hotels or high-volume setting, with strong communication skills and understanding of relevant liquor laws.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

With exceptional communication skills, you enjoy collaborating with colleagues and management as well as interacting with our customers. You bring a proactive, positive attitude to every task and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.
Your role will be pivotal for the Fat Noodle Kitchen’s success.
