IT Solution Manager – Operational & Productivity 
 

Shape the technology that drives operational performance and service delivery 
We’re looking for an experienced and innovative IT leader to own and evolve Compass Group Australia’s operational and productivity technology ecosystem. You’ll take end-to-end accountability for the performance, optimisation, and innovation of the systems that power our core operational processes, workforce productivity, and service delivery. 

The Role 
As IT Solution Manager – Operational & Productivity, you will: 

• Own the full portfolio of operational and productivity platforms, including ERP, facilities management, workforce logistics, service management, property technology, customer experience, and wellbeing solutions. 

• Define and deliver the systems roadmap, ensuring platforms remain fit-for-purpose, competitive, and aligned with business strategy. 

• Partner with Operations, Support Services, and Technology teams to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and digitisation. 

• Oversee vendor governance, including roadmap alignment, version release management, and evaluation of AI-driven features. 

• Activate underutilised platform features and modules to maximise value and enhance usability. 

• Lead innovation initiatives to digitise manual processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen service delivery. 

• Monitor market and competitor trends to keep our technology stack progressive and competitive. 

• Build strong stakeholder relationships and maintain a regular cadence of engagement with SMEs and vendors. 

What You’ll Bring 

• 7+ years’ experience in enterprise system ownership, optimisation, or digital transformation. 

• Proven success in implementing and optimising operational and productivity systems. 

• Strong vendor management experience with a focus on roadmap influence and release governance. 

• Knowledge of automation tools, low-code/no-code solutions, and RPA (highly desirable). 

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. 

• Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
