Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between the scrum teams and the business stakeholders, with the responsibility of identifying, defining, refining, prioritizing and managing requirement scope to streamline product delivery.

Your role

  • Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to drive delivery within an Agile framework
  • Document requirement effectively and concisely to the level of technical detail required by developers and testers
  • Manage a clearly prioritized list of features and stories, based on input and direction of business stakeholders
  • Assist in end to end delivery of product
  • Identify and assist with process improvement, streamlining the communication and flow of information
  • Work closely with business stakeholders from Trading, Risk, Regulatory as well as various cross functional teams and partners within the IT organization
  • Challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder requirements

 

Your team

Fixed Odds is one of the core streams within Wagering & Media Technology at Tabcorp. Our services focus on providing regulatory reporting, new features, enhancements, defects elimination and platform stability for our stakeholders in Wagering & Media business. We manage the end to end delivery of Fixed odds platform.

 

You’ll be working in the Fixed Odds squad based in Melbourne. You’ll play an important role in ensuring that our platform meets business expectation, meets industry's best practice and maintain the stability of our systems. Your expertise

  • Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working and the ability to drive adoption within a team
  • Proficient in Jira with the ability to write well- constructed, clear user stories
  • Intermediate knowledge of all aspects of system implementation, both in-house and customised package solutions
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation and associated regulations
  • Being thorough, precise and proactive in your working methodology

 

Travel requirement

  • Minor interstate travel might be required
