What you'll do

As the Contact Centre Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to our customers by providing an accurate, consistent, efficient, and friendly betting and information service. We want to leave a lasting impression to ensure we are front of mind for all their future betting needs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to TAB customers in an OMNI channel Contact Centre environment including phone, email, chat, and other channels as required by the business via Cloud Based Technology.
  • Ensure bet requests are placed correctly and within a timely manner. 
  • Provide information for all Pari-mutuel and Fixed Odds products using a dual screen computer terminal and keyboard.
  • Provide general information such as scratching’s, track conditions, events and bet types.
  • Provide detailed account information to account holders whilst delivering a complete and comprehensive customer experience.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, consistent. and friendly service to all customers.
  • Comply with all Tabcorp regulations, policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.

What you'll bring

  • You will need to be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
  • Experience in a customer service role (Call Centre experience an advantage) with excellent phone manner.
  • An enthusiastic and positive team player who is reliable, punctual, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Medium to advanced competency in computer skills with proven ability to multitask and work within a team environment.
  • Good knowledge of racing and sports industry is advantageous and willingness to grow, develop and learn is a must.
  • Available to commit to compulsory 1 - 2 weeks full time training.

All applicants please note:

  • Saturdays are compulsory.
  • Melbourne Cup Day is compulsory.
  • Casual hours approximately 20-30hours per week or based on business requirements.
  • The TAB Customer Service Centre is operational Tuesday to Saturday, 8am-6pm or based on business requirements.
