What you’ll do 

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, your role as the Security Transformation Program Director will be responsible for implementing transformational security programs to progressively develop Technology’s security posture and minimise Tabcorp’s vulnerabilities.

You will be the primary engagement point across the security transformation portfolio and own the program and multiple project delivery streams from overarching vision and program initiation, through to program delivery, change management and program execution.  You will execute and deliver on strategic initiatives so Tabcorp can achieve full advantage of the change and maximise value to the business operations.

Key accountabilities:

  • Deliver multiple security projects that improve the security posture and risk profile at Tabcorp.
  • Lead a high-performing security transformation team and create and build a continuous improvement, positive team environment and culture.
  • Work closely with the Security Architecture & Engineering team to ensure security projects are delivered with security uplift as a key driver.
  • Collaborate with your stakeholders and peers to ensure transformation program and the Security strategy remains business and technology aligned and enabled
  • Make key decisions and prioritise work to align the transformation program with the strategy.  Demonstrate progress against the strategic goals and key program milestones
  • Plan, schedule, implement, monitor, and report on activities related to the program to ensure that all projects contribute to the overall achievement of the program.

What you’ll bring

  • 8-10 years’ experience in large-scale complex, diverse Enterprise, and at least 3 years’ experience in a senior leadership role driving security transformation
  • Expert in cybersecurity and solid experience in translating information security requirements into Cybersecurity controls and measures
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesise, present and communicate security and technical information in business language to business and management people 
  • Familiarity with modern technologies and security approaches i.e. cloud security technologies, automation, digital, as well as broader transformation experience in reorganisation and optimizing of security organisation.
  • A proven track record in applying contemporary practices to deliver measurable improvements to an enterprise’s security and compliance posture.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external teams.
