As a strategic advisor and capability builder, you will partner with leaders to identify, assess and manage physical and psychosocial hazards in line with Australian Work Health and Safety legislation. How you'll be part of the action 

Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, you will act as a trusted advisor and partner to operational leaders, driving compliance and building capability across the organisation. Your impact will be seen in safer workplaces, stronger culture, and proactive risk management. 

• Lead initiatives to identify and manage physical and psychosocial hazards 

• Partner with leaders to embed safety practices and influence culture 

• Drive compliance with Australian Work Health and Safety legislation 

• Create and deliver capability programs that uplift safety knowledge 

• Analyse data and trends to inform proactive risk management strategies 

• Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared accountability 

Your game changing qualities 

You are a confident, collaborative professional with significant experience in health, safety and wellbeing. You combine strategic thinking with practical execution and thrive on building strong partnerships that make a real difference. 

• Experienced in health, safety and wellbeing within complex environments 

• Proven ability to act as a strategic advisor and influence senior leaders 

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills 

• Ability to interpret legislation and apply it in practical, operational contexts 

• Skilled in developing and delivering capability programs that drive engagement 

• Analytical mindset with capability to use data for proactive decision-making
