Step into a role where you keep the action moving on race day. As a Racetrack Team Lead within our Oncourse team, you will be at the centre of delivering seamless race meeting operations, supporting teams on the ground and creating outstanding experiences for customers, clubs and stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where no two days are the same. 

How you'll be part of the action 

Reporting to the State Manager, you will lead the delivery of race day operations across assigned venues, ensuring every meeting is safe, compliant, customer-focused and ready for action. Your leadership will help teams perform at their best while supporting the success of key Oncourse initiatives. 

  • Lead race day operations to deliver safe, seamless customer experiences 
  • Drive compliance, safety and service standards across race meetings 
  • Coordinate staffing, logistics and venue readiness for events 
  • Support technical setup, troubleshooting and operational issue resolution 
  • Build strong relationships with clubs, stakeholders and race day teams 
  • Contribute to key Oncourse projects and improvement initiatives 

 

What you'll need to succeed 

The successful candidate is a proactive and organised leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. You bring a customer-first mindset, strong operational judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrated capability delivering exceptional customer service outcomes 
  • Proven ability to lead operations in dynamic environments 
  • Strong communication skills with diverse teams and stakeholders 
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures confidently 
  • Highly organised approach with competing priorities and deadlines 
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and systems
