About the area
The Brand, Marketing and Recruitment (BMR) division provides organisational wide brand strategy and ongoing brand management, strategic marketing and planning, marketing communications activities, digital communication, research and segmentation. Marketing and recruitment activities planned and implemented by the BMR team are designed to help achieve the University strategic goals of brand and reputation building and attracting domestic and international students to study at UWA.
The Future Students team within BMR Division provides strategic student recruitment direction and management for the university. The Future Students Centre team is responsible for leading best customer service practice and providing personalised as well as outbound course advisory communication with prospective students and influencers; with the aim of driving engagement, advocacy, referral and enrolment across both domestic and international markets.
About the opportunity
- Provide strategic operational planning and direction in the University’s recruitment and sales functions.
- Implement lead generation and offer conversion activities and ensuring ongoing product, consultative sales and customer service training and coaching.
- Coordinate a student recruitment team who provide front line course advisory services to prospective students as part of the Future Students Centre.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Demonstrated operational leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate a team through an agile approach.
- Sound knowledge of enquiry management and proactive conversion strategies.
- A track record of excellence in customer service and consultative sales, preferably in a multi-channel contact centre.
- Experience in prospective student recruitment in higher education would be advantageous.
Note: A Working with Children Check, and “C” class driver’s licence will be required by the successful applicant.
