About the role

As the Food and Beverage Team Leader, you will coordinate the day-to-day operational requirements of food and beverage services at St. Joseph's Mews. Your responsibilities will include serving meals, snacks, and beverages, setting up and packing down café/bar areas, and coordinating staff requirements. You will also liaise with the Village Manager and prospective customers to organize and coordinate regular in-house meetings and functions.  This role reports to the Retirement Living Manager.      

 

About you 

You will be a passionate hospitality Team leader, experienced in Bar, Bistro and Café operations, assisting in menu planning arranging functions, always maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and their guest.  

Skills and experience required

  • Experience working in a food services environment and supervising staff.
  • Experienced in delivering outstanding customer service
  • Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
  • Clear understanding of food handling requirements.
  • Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to plan and implement functions.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality customer service.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a retirement living environment.
