We have multiple opportunities available for Claims Liability Advisors within the New Claims team.

As a Claims Liability Advisor, you will be responsible for making decisions on critical, high risk and sensitive claims and supporting leaders to resolve customer escalations, assess and uplift the capability of new team members and review and approve reasons for decisions.

You will have a high level of expertise in claims determinations and enjoy problem-solving while making informed decisions autonomously. You will communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally, ensuring complex information is conveyed effectively. Passionate about improving customer experiences and supporting your team, you will bring a collaborative and customer-focused approach to your work. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you will take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes while adapting to challenges with resilience and professionalism.

• Can you walk us through a recent example of a unique and challenging claim decision you have made independently. What factors did you consider to ensure the decision was fair, well-informed and legislatively correct and how did you demonstrate Workcover's customer strategy principles during the determination of the claim?  Please provide an authentic, redacted RFD related to this claim, to support your response. (You may use the “supporting documents” field within the application form to upload the redacted RFD).  
• Describe a time in the past 6 months, you have provided guidance and coached a new team member to uplift competency or address an opportunity. What did you do to ensure your colleague was supported effectively? How did you ensure the change was embedded?
