We're seeking a motivated Facilities and Security Project Officer to join our Property and Facilities team. This is a hands-on, operational role where you'll coordinate day-to-day facilities management, security initiatives, and procurement projects across our Queensland locations.

Reporting to the Manager, Property and Facilities, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our workplaces are safe, accessible, and efficiently maintained. From managing small fit-outs and refurbishments to coordinating contractor relationships and implementing security upgrades, you'll be at the centre of delivering operational excellence.

Please note: This is an on-site role based in Brisbane with no provision for working from home.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate facilities procurement projects, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee contractor performance and compliance
  • Deliver small builder-assisted fit-outs, relocations, and refurbishments on time and within budget
  • Implement accessibility initiatives and security upgrades across our locations
  • Coordinate daily facilities operations including maintenance requests and service delivery
  • Maintain asset registers, project documentation, and compliance records
  • Act as a subject matter expert for facilities policies and procedures
  • Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement administration
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery

About You

  • Experience in facilities, property, or operations coordination and project management
  • Proven ability to manage contractors and service delivery effectively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Practical understanding of facilities management, building operations, and WHS requirements
  • Excellent administrative skills including record-keeping and reporting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
