We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join the Digital and Technology Group. This role reports to the Head of Architecture and will be responsible for shaping WorkCover Queensland's technology landscape. 

This role offers a chance to advance your enterprise architecture career while supporting workplace safety improvements in Queensland through a major business transformation program. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead development of Target State Architectures and multi-year technology roadmaps. 

  • Lead the development of enterprise architecture standards, patterns and guardrails enabling strong governance and assurance processes  

  • Chair the Architecture Design Authority, leading reviews and establishing governance frameworks aligned to WorkCover's strategic objectives 

  • Design scalable, secure solutions for priority initiatives including our claims system modernization and digital transformation programme 

  • Mentor and coach architects and delivery leads, embedding architectural thinking and building capability across decentralised teams 

  • Provide strategic advice to enterprise leaders 

  • Champion evaluation of emerging technologies and assessing business value and integration feasibility 

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across business units, IT operations, and external partners to align decisions with organisational priorities 

About You: 

  • 7+ years in enterprise architecture roles, with demonstrated experience across multiple business domains 

  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills in complex, matrix environments 

  • Ability to align business strategy with IT investment decisions and articulate value to non-technical stakeholders 

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building capabilities
