The Opportunity
Based at our Albany location, we are seeking an Operator to join our team. As a Transfer Station Operator, you'll play a crucial role in assisting our customers, coordinating incoming waste and ensuring we work together with the public to maximise resource recovery and diversion from landfill. Additionally, you will assist with general labouring and administrative tasks as required to keep us working towards our resource targets.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alongside customers and members of the public
- Proven ability to multi-task and work on competing priorities simultaneously
- Safety mindset
- Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
Waste industry experience is not essential, however possessing a good attitude, being reliable and having a willingness to learn is.
