- Monday to Friday with 4.45am starts
The Opportunity
Based at our Ayr depot, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for a broad cross section of activities to support the day to day operations of the Ayr team, servicing Burdekin Shire. In addition to the typical responsibilities of a qualified and experienced HR Driver, you will assist with coordinating drivers and ensuring the depot runs to schedule, including assisting with relief on runs as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Valid HR licence, clean driving record
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the capacity to work and lead a small team
- Safety mindset
- Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
Waste industry experience is not essential, however possessing a good attitude, being reliable and having a willingness to learn is.
