The Opportunity 

Based at our newly built Rooty Hill materials recycling facility, we are seeking experienced Front End Loader Operators and Forklift Operators to join the team in a full time, permanent capacity.

Loader Operators:

• Operate the Front End Loader and Material Handler as required
• Take ownership of plant machinery (e.g., pre- and post-start checks)
• Control the placement of waste and recyclables being deposited by customers so to maximise resource recovery
• Meet targets for recycling and diversion of waste from landfill
• Undertake general labouring and cleaning duties as required

Forklift Operators:

• Operate recycling machinery and forklifts as needed
• Handle and move materials safely and efficiently
• Monitor the flow of materials to ensure optimal processing.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure functionality.
• Perform labouring and manual handling tasks

About You 

• Hold a current Forklift, Loader or Excavator licence
• Excellent work ethic and attitude
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safe operating of high-risk equipment.
• Background in the waste, recycling or mining industry is highly regarded
• Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
