We are currently seeking motivated and safety-focused individuals to join our team as Industrial Vacuum Operators.
About the Role:
As an Industrial Vacuum Operator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering essential environmental and industrial services across site locations. This is a hands-on role where safety, teamwork, and reliability are key.
You’ll be working across operational sites supporting vacuuming, cleaning, and environmental services using specialised equipment in a supportive team environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating vacuum trucks and travelling to job sites (short travel distances)
- Completing safety documentation before work, including:
- Take 5
- SLAMS
- JSEA
- Isolation permits and lock out/tag out procedures
- Setting up and managing vacuum hoses across multi-level structures
- Working in confined spaces and at heights safely and effectively
- Performing industrial cleaning tasks, including vacuuming coal ash and dust cells
- Supporting additional services such as:
- Hydro excavation (non-destructive digging)
- Environmental spill response and clean-up
- Maintaining equipment, cleaning trucks, and ensuring high housekeeping standards
What You’ll Bring

- Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends when required
Required Qualifications:
- Confined Space Entry certification
- Working at Heights certification
- HR Truck Licence
