The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially minded Training & Capability Advisor to help shape and enhance learning and capability outcomes across the business. Working closely with leaders, subject matter experts, and operational teams, you will identify capability gaps, analyse business needs, and develop practical learning solutions that drive performance and reduce risk.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys consulting, problem-solving, and stakeholder partnering, and prefers designing and improving learning experiences rather than facilitating training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain capability frameworks, learning pathways, and training resources that support operational and compliance requirements.
  • Utilise AI and digital learning tools to improve content development, accessibility, and learner engagement.
  • Lead the review, testing, and continuous improvement of training materials, systems, and capability tools.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of learning initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support capability projects across multiple business units, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Learning & Development team to embed sustainable capability solutions across the organisation.

About You

You are a strong relationship builder with excellent analytical skills and a passion for capability development. You enjoy understanding business challenges, translating information into practical learning solutions, and influencing stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.

You'll likely bring:

  • Experience in Training, Learning & Development, Capability, Organisational Development, or a related field.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
  • Experience partnering with operational leaders and subject matter experts.
  • The ability to analyse information and identify capability development opportunities.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, or improving learning frameworks, tools, and resources.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to measure training effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, FMCG, or other operational environments will be highly regarded.
