The Opportunity

• Coordinating and scheduling day-to-day Plant operations and leading a team
• Achieving operational daily, weekly and monthly targets
• Driving operational efficiencies within the team, continual reviewing and improvement of inbound workflows to facilitate efficient delivery performance
• Purchasing of consumables and yard equipment and inventory management
• Working closely with our site Chemist to ensure wastewater quality and compliance is maintained.
• Capturing all inbound data and outbound data to meet DWER and Water Corporation requirements
• Ensuring day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment and mobile plant
• Maintaining a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, inspection requirements and training
• Driving a respectful environment throughout the site by observing/living the Cleanaway guiding principles

About You

• Experience in a supervisory role (desirable)           
• Demonstrated experience working in a processing or manufacturing environment
• Exposure to and knowledge of safety management systems
• Moderate experience within the transport/waste/logistics and recycling industries
• A solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Team leadership and engagement skills
