University Libraries Digitization Specialist - 521933
The University Libraries Digitization Specialist supports the University’s mission to digitize and make available rare and unique Special Collections materials. Performs digitization using specialized imaging equipment to produce FADGI compliant digital surrogates. Utilizes archival content standards and metadata schemas to generate original descriptive metadata for digital content, including foreign language materials, and performs data normalization for batch processing. Supervises student production work and provides oversight and guidance for student workers to assure quality control of digitization products. Contributes to the planning and implementation of workflow procedures and provides input for setting production goals for assigned tasks or workflows. Utilizes automated processes and server-side scripting to manipulate and store high volumes of batch content throughout the digital asset management lifecycle.
Medical Insurance Clerk - 522328
The Medical Insurance Clerk I processes insurance claims submitted for reimbursement. Communicates with insurance carriers and patients on coverage and payment requirements to facilitate timely reimbursement on outstanding claims.
Director OTIDE Technology - 522477
The Director of OTIDE Technology oversees all IT functions handled at the department level. Represents college's needs and interests with central Office of Information Technology (OIT). Partners with OIT on projects and issues as needed and adhere to OIT policies, procedures, and guidance. Manages resources of assigned areas to accomplish goals and objectives. Supervises IT and other staff, as well as provide guidance and direction to other OTIDE staff.

The Student Retention Program Manager serves as an academic and campus success coach for third- and fourth-year UA students who are on the cusp of academic warning and/or have financial limitations that prohibit persistence through their degree program. Provides resources. Develops student success plans. Manages outreach and communication efforts. Builds partnerships across campus.
Athletic Facilities Operations Coordinator - 522482
The Athletic Facilities Operation Coordinator coordinates facility duties for both daily operations and event functions in Athletic Facilities. Conducts quality control checks on building cleaning, building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment, and maintains working lists of items that need to be addressed. Provides on-site support as needed.

The Director of University Registrar Technology provides technical leadership and personnel management for the technology department within the Office of the University Registrar. Serves as data steward for all student data on campus. Carries out data usage and security policies. Tracks and approves movement of student data inside and outside of the University. Identifies and corrects data quality issues. Acts as a liaison with the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
SW - Field Coordinator, Instructor - 522463
The University of Alabama School of Social Work invites applications for a Field Coordinator at the rank of Instructor. This is a three-year renewable, non-tenure earning faculty position (full-time, 12-month) to begin August 2024, with opportunity to begin June 2024. We seek a collaborative, forward-thinking colleague to teach field integrative seminar and other field-related practice courses; recruit field agencies for the field internship program; match students with field agencies; make liaison placements; and assist in providing orientation, training, and supervision for students, field instructors, and faculty liaisons. In addition to administrative responsibilities in the Field Education Program and teaching, the successful candidate will engage in service to the School, University, and profession. Review of applications will begin April 24, 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. The expected start date is August 16, 2024, with opportunity to begin June 2024. This is not a remote position.

The Construction Field Coordinator performs field operations as the owners representative on multiple projects. Monitors inspections, quality, and schedule to ensure a successful completion. Coordinates owner provided vendors, contractors, government agency representatives, and consultants.
Heavy Equipment Operator - 522476
The Heavy Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment required for work projects including front-end loaders, backhoes and bulldozers. Performs equipment inspections and preventative/routine maintenance. Performs minor equipment repairs and adjustments. Makes estimates from prints, sketches, or site inspections. Drives from site-to-site. Supervises and trains entry level personnel.

The Purchasing Assistant aides in procurement-related activities at the college or University level.

The Testing Services Coordinator is responsible for administering and supporting the services and operations of the Testing department.
Postdoctoral Fellow - 522453
