Electrical and Computer Engineering - Renewable Contract Research Assistant Professor - 527051
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama is recruiting a non-tenure-track, renewable contract position at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an immediate start date. Exceptional applicants are sought that have a passion for research on Neuromorphic Computing (e.g., memristor modeling/simulation/manufacturing) and Edge AI related areas (e.g., AI algorithms, AI accelerator, VLSI).
Trades Helper - 527059
The Trades Helper performs simple manual work in assisting skilled mechanics and apprentices of various trades under close supervision. Typically assigned to assist crew of the same trade on a regular basis.
Action Card Services Specialist - 527060
The Action Card Services Specialist provides strategic planning and product research to identify industry opportunities for enhanced card services for the University. Interacts with industry and campus to shape and support of Action Card services and products. Enhances customer service and processes through the use of secure and efficient card/transaction technology and monitors results to prevent any disruptive activity to cardholder daily operations.
IT Project Manager II - 527053
The IT Project Manager II serves as an Office of Information Technology (OIT) liaison and mentor for OIT operational managers and project teams. Focuses on best practices for project management on both departmental and enterprise-wide IT projects. Manages medium, moderately complex, critical and non-critical IT projects requiring knowledge and demonstrated expertise in project management. Oversees, plans, and implements project plans. Provides feedback and mentorship for entry-level OIT project managers.
