A Student Assistant for Water Quality & Laboratory Support provides laboratory, research, and administrative support for the USGS Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility. Assists with preparing and organizing water samples, maintaining lab supplies, documenting quality control records, and supporting basic analytical procedures under supervision. Helps manage and review data, contribute to research projects, and prepare technical summaries. Supports tours and outreach by communicating key information about water quality initiatives. Assists with lab scheduling, document organization, and general office and facility support.
Student Assistant - Electronics Shop Technician - United States Geological Survey - 528694
A Student Assistant for Electronics Shop Technician supports water quality research, laboratory operations, and scientific outreach activities for the USGS Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility. Assists with water sample preparation, basic analytical procedures, equipment documentation, and supply management. Provides data and research support through data entry, organization, preliminary review, and preparation of summaries for staff scientists. Contributes to tours and outreach by greeting visitors, assisting with guided tours, and communicating key information about water quality programs. Offers administrative and facility support by helping maintain schedules, organizing technical and safety documents, and providing general office and laboratory assistance as needed.
Graduate Research Assistant – Electrical Engineering & Advanced Instrumentation Systems - United States Geological Survey - 528695
