WASH Innovation Consultant - Managed Aquifer Recharge Scaling Strategy, 5 months, Remote Denmark
The vision of the UNICEF Sustainable WASH Innovation Hub (WASH Hub) is a global home for building, accelerating and scaling transformational climate resilient solutions for a WASH secure future of universal and equitable access to services, addressing the full ambition of the SDG6. WASH Hub will source, pilot and scale transformational and frontier climate resilient solutions that respond to key programmatic challenges that, if solved, will unlock faster progress for a water secure future for children and young people. One of those solutions is Managed Aquifer Recharge, an innovative, low-cost approach to water conservation that has the potential to turn a hazard into a resource. The Consultant will support the WASH Hub by outlining the scaling pathway, approach and key considerations for the Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) solution, to support multi-country and multi-region scale.

UNICEF Innocenti - Global Office of Research and Foresight (GORaF) is seeking a consultant to coordinate and deliver a high-impact research initiative exploring the intersections between child sexual abuse (CSA) and technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV). The role involves managing a multi-phase project that includes stakeholder engagement, evidence synthesis, interdisciplinary research coordination, and the development of a thought leadership piece to inform global policy and practice. The present consultancy will lead to the development of a base paper to clarify the intersections between child sexual abuse and technology-facilitated gender-based violence, highlight gaps in knowledge, identify opportunities for increased collaboration across these areas of work, and explore potential next steps for future research, policy, and practice. Importantly, it will explore different approaches to understanding how exposure to harmful content, particularly online, may be influencing norms and behaviors associated with the acceptance and perpetration of sexual violence.
