The role will conduct research and development of a new programme participant and partnership storytelling co-creation model that will enable UNICEF to work with programme participants (children an their families, community members) and implementing partners in various settings to tell authentic and inclusive stories using a contextual co-creation modality suitable and bespoke to UNICEF’s unique storytelling needs. This will include the creation of a robust methodology develop with stakeholders, as well as practical examples and accompanying learning tools for dissemination and sensitization among internal staff and external partners. In addition, the role will research, develop guidance together with relevant stakeholders relating to humanitarian emergencies which include specific contextual considerations that can be applied to the challenging and complex storytelling in this space. The consultant will create a framework and strategy for the organization to review and update UNICEF’s internal archive WeShare through an Inclusive Storytelling lens. The consultant will design an Agora course as well as additional explainers and tools that can support country offices and partners who are starting to engage with the framework.
