The purpose of the assignment is to provide confidential, demand-based psychosocial support services to UNICEF personnel, including short-term individual counselling, crisis support following critical incidents or acute stress events, and structured wellbeing workshops.
The consultant will contribute to strengthening staff resilience, supporting psychological stabilization during emergencies, promoting adaptive coping strategies, and ensuring timely referral to specialized or long-term care where needed. The assignment will be carried out in coordination with the National Staff Counsellor and aligned with emerging staff wellbeing needs and organizational priorities.
The incumbent provides technical guidance and operational support throughout the programming process to facilitate the achievement of concrete and sustainable results, according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), organizational Strategic Plans and goals, standards of performance, and accountability framework ensuring immunization contributes to stronger PHC, resilient health systems, and improved health outcomes.
This consultancy will provide systematic field monitoring and quality assurance of Makani Center operations and program implementation from September to December 2026.
