The successful candidate will be a part of the Portfolio, Culture, and Scale team based in Stockholm and will work under the direct supervision of the UPSHIFT global lead and in close collaboration with the Partnerships and Communicaiton team. The consultant will work remotely and is expected to be available along CET time zone during the active engagement of the assignment.
UNICEF seeks to hire an experienced, results oriented Individual consultant to assist UNICEF Lesotho Country Office to develop an ECE investment case for Lesotho. The investment case aims to demonstrate the value and impact of early learning on children, society and the nation as a whole. It provides evidence-based arguments to policymakers, highlighting how ECE can lead to better educational outcomes, increased economic productivity, and reduced social inequalities, among many benefits.
UNICEF and the National Department of Health (NDoH), in collaboration with partners such as the Department of Basic Education, the Department of Water and Sanitation, the Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, WaterAid, and the South African Medical Research Council, aim to review and update the existing hygiene strategy, develop a realistic, costed, and multisectoral roadmap, strengthen coordination and integration of hygiene in key national systems, promote inclusive hygiene access and practices in diverse settings including health care facilities, schools, public institutions, and communities.
The consultant will contribute to the creation of an enabling environment by developing the strategy and roadmap through participatory consultations, evidence-based analysis, and practical recommendations for implementation, coordination, financing, and monitoring.
UNICEF Indonesia is looking for a national consultant to provide overarching support for analytical and research activities to be conducted as part of the System Capacity Grant (SCG) Part 2 work plan. The consultant will be responsible for identifying, collecting and analysing relevant education data and statistics needed in each analytical/research activity, and for providing synthesis reports to create adequate understanding of the data analysis result, including their limitations. The consultant will also be required to undertake education data analyses, which may be requested on an ad hoc basis, by UNICEF, Ministry of Primary and Secondari Education (MoPSE) and Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA). As part of these analytical and research activities, the consultant must ensure accuracy and validity of the data produced and ensure that existing education databases are maintained and updated regularly. The assignment is for 286 days within 18 months' duration.
This consultancy seeks to undertake research on celebrities and influencers that:
A. Embody the UNICEF brand using our brand values and exclusion criteria;
B. Have wide reach and influence across UNICEF’s target audiences;
C. Can commit to a workplan with various activities such as learning sessions and field visits; and
D. Can contribute to UNICEF’s priority and other advocacies.
The final output is a recommendation of at least five (5) celebrities and influencers on the national level, and another set of five (5) at the Bangsamoro level.
