Objetivos específicos
● Identificar los principales determinantes conductuales y barreras sociales en el entorno de la primera infancia para diseñar una metodología de cambio social y de comportamiento adaptada al contexto local.
● Diseñar un plan piloto de aplicación de la metodología en articulación con las entidades competentes, a fin de determinar su operatividad, pertinencia y capacidad de adaptación a distintos contextos.
● Evaluar el proceso con un análisis técnico y participativo, incorporando lecciones aprendidas y recomendaciones para ajustar y optimizar la metodología con miras a su escalamiento en diferentes contextos y temáticas.
UNICEF Sierra Leone is seeking to recruit a Chief of Planning and Monitoring. The Chief of Planning and Monitoring will lead monitoring and evaluation activities, knowledge management for evidence-based analysis and HACT adherence as an integral part of programme development, planning and implementation.
The purpose of this assignment is to provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation to develop a detailed costed investment plan for implementation of the one-shift school model, with the particular focus on selected pilot schools.
The Contracts Officer oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of individual consultancy contracts - including reviewing Terms of Reference (TORs), supporting sourcing and selection, preparing offers, issuing contracts, and managing closure processes.
Under guidance of the Research Specialist, Digital Engagement and Protection, the Research Officer (Digital) will mainly be responsible for leading statistical analysis of survey data related to technology-facilitated sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as supporting the quantitative research design for the inception phase of a new longitudinal research project. Support will also be needed for mixed-methods integration and analysis related to the unit’s qualitative research under these projects, with support from the supervisor and team members. The Research Officer will draft various publications, including research reports, policy briefs and/or journal articles, using primary and/or secondary data to respond to strategic priorities and dialogue within UNICEF and globally related to children’s digital engagement and protection.
