UNICEF is seeking an international consultant to support the development of young leaders through training and mentorship in leadership, advocacy, and policy influence. Specifically, the international consultant is expected to build the capacity of the youth trainers and young people engaged with the national youth councils in South Asia to deliver the Youth Action Guide in the future and facilitate training for the UNICEF South Asia Young People’s Action team, coordinating engagement of the trained trainers.
This consultancy is to provide technical support to the established technical working group under the National Education Academy in guiding and quality assuring the curriculum and standards review and integration process, design of teachers guides and linking curriculum to project-based activities on the ground taking into account regional context with the climate change adaptation.
The NOB The Social Policy Officer (PF4C) Officer will report to the Deputy Representative and work closely with technical leads working on Social Protection, Child Protection, Health and Nutrition, Education, and Climate. The Officer provides strong management and leadership to the work on PFM to deliver timely and quality results against the annual workplan and in line with the Country Programme Document (CPD). S/he will also be responsible for effective budget management, as well as ensuring compliance with donor conditionalities and effective coordination with development partners in the areas of responsibility.
