UNICEF GSSC is looking for a dynamic individual with skills to develop and implement a comprehensive, future-oriented learning strategy that integrates modern delivery methods including AI-driven support, peer-to-peer learning, and on-the-job training to build both current capabilities and future-proof competencies across the organization that strategically aligns with organizational priorities and embedded in the evolving culture of the GSSC.
To concretise the GenU approach in South Africa and shift towards actionable plans, the services of a consultant are required. The consultant will innovatively translate data-driven insights, stakeholder feedback and youth voices into a strategic operational and co-ordination roadmap to achieve the mission of UNICEF’s GenU. Building on the foundational GenU Africa strategy and that of the PYEI in South Africa, the consultant will produce a toolkit that clearly articulates the GenU SA governance structure, its’ youth engagement and accountability strategy, and outline the GenU SA key performance indicators and targets. A key aspect is the integration of this toolkit with existing government and private sector led initiatives to facilitate higher-impact collaborations that avoid duplication and maximize scale, while effectively delivering on youth outcomes.
The selected consultants will be required to provide professional Serbian-language copy-editing and proofreading services to support the production of high-quality communication and programme materials. This includes ensuring linguistic accuracy, clarity of expression, consistency of terminology, and alignment with UNICEF communication standards.
