UNICEF Jakarta is looking for Nutrition Officer who will support the Nutrition Specialist P3 in engaging the government on food systems. Specifically, the NOB will contribute to the development and establishment of food systems and climate in government policies guidelines and training modules. He/she will provide technical support to the line ministry on updating existing regulations to improve them. He/she will also contribute to support the advocacy efforts on strengthening nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive policies that can positively contribute to reducing the triple burden of malnutrition in Indonesia. Furthermore, he/she will support the development of programmes and activities related to food systems climate and nutrition. As the food systems angle is relatively new in the Government of Indonesia’s nutrition strategy this position will require regular engagement with government bodies (Bappenas, MoH, Bappenas and UN System) to develop a coordinated approach on improving food policies and support the food industry to comply with revised regulations. This is a Temporary Appointment contract with a duration of 364 days.
