Under the supervision of the Chief PFP-ICT (P5) with a dotted line to Operations Manager (P4), the incumbent will act as the crucial bridge between operational ICT support staff and the business, including management, and coordinate the overall ICT services in Rome. It is responsible for directing, supporting, quality assuring, and managing the day-to-day performance of ICT services. It ensures systems and services are available, stable, secure, and aligned with business needs while mentoring ICT staff and managing technical projects.
Under the supervision of the Digital Impact Specialist (P3), the incumbent will ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of ICT technical services and support by overseeing support staff, managing ticket lifecycles, and tracking performance metrics. The main purpose is to maintain high customer satisfaction, optimize service workflows, act as the escalation point for critical issues, and train staff to meet organization standards. The role will also provide a general guidance and supervisory role to Digital Impact Associates.
Under the supervision of the Digital Impact Specialist (P3), the incumbent will design, build, manage, and monitor the essential hardware (firewalls, routers, switches, etc.) and related software (security, operating systems, etc.) that form an organization's digital backbone, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient data flow to support business operations, communication, and growth. The incumbent will keep the digital environment running smoothly by handling everything from initial setup and configuration to ongoing performance monitoring, security enforcement, troubleshooting, and planning for future needs. The role will also provide a general guidance and supervisory role to a Digital Impact Associate.
