| Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, criminal investigation, or related field is required. A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s) in a relevant field combined with two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.Work Experience: A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in legal activities and/or investigation related functions is required.Experience with an international or multilateral public institution is an asset.Experience working in or with the United Nations Dispute Tribunal, the United Nations Appeals Tribunal, and/or the International Labour Organization Administrative Tribunal is an asset. This includes, but is not limited to, experience as counsel, in a registry or case management capacity, or in a legal advisory role involving regular analysis of the jurisprudence of these bodies.Experience working with administrative sanctions systems within national, international or multilateral public institutions is an asset. Language: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset. |

| The purpose of this assignment is to provide technical and related support to the Department of Basic Education’s ECD Directorate in the development, strengthening, and maintenance of knowledge and professional development support systems within the early learning sector which include the expansion and content management of the ECD Information Hub as a dynamic knowledge and advocacy platform; the migration, implementation, content development, and sustainability of digital ECD platforms such and ECDmobi and the P.L.A.Y. online in-service training; and the identification and sharing of key knowledge products on early learning through play in an accessible and effective manner to all stakeholders. |
