| As part of the implementation of the EU Health Project "Ezaka ho tomady", two types of technical assistants will be recruited at the district level: the National Consultant District Technical Assistant (DTA) and a Technical Assistant assigned to the District Referral Hospital (CHRD). The first, the National Consultant District Technical Assistant (DTA), will provide technical support to health districts, health facilities (HFs), coordination structures, and local authorities responsible for the health sector. Their role will be to strengthen planning, improve service quality, enhance governance, and promote community engagement in health matters. The DTA will offer professional expertise in technical assistance to support health districts and HFs in conducting in-depth and ongoing situational analyses, as well as in developing appropriate solutions. He/she will also support the organization of healthcare services and mobilize local authorities to ensure effective health sector management and equitable access to care for all. Meanwhile, the Technical Assistant assigned to the CHRD will be responsible for supporting the hospital’s technical and clinical teams in organizing and ensuring the quality of Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (EmONC), training various categories of health professionals involved, monitoring and ensuring the functionality of technical platforms (including the availability of inputs), and organizing referral and counter-referral systems. |

UNICEF Pacific Vacancy: A formative evaluation of climate and disaster-resilient WASH programming in the PICs,150 days between 4 consultants, over 5 months

| UNICEF Pacific seeks to contract three evaluators/consultants with appropriate skills, expertise and capacities, to work as a team to conduct a formative evaluation of climate and disaster-resilient WASH programming in the Pacific Island countries. The evaluation will assess the extent to which the UNICEF WASH climate and disaster-resilient programming approach is set up to deliver sustainable and climate and disaster-resilient quality water and sanitation services, and to ensure that children and their families have the knowledge, skills and resources to practice safe WASH. It will also determine whether UNICEF programme activities are positioned to advance the goal for every child to have access to water, sanitation and hygiene and live in a safe and sustainable climate and environment, and to attain UNICEF vision towards realization of the human rights to water and sanitation.
The consultancy is for 150 working days divided between the 4 consultants and spread over a 5-month period. Contracts will be issued on an individual basis. |

| The UNICEF Country Office Development and Support (CODAS) section within Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division (PFP) in Geneva, Switzerland, has ongoing requirements for the production and design of digital content pieces to carry out specific fundraising support for emerging and established markets in the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA), Europe and Central Asia (ECA), and West and Central Africa (WCA) regions. Through this LTA, CODAS would like to establish a roster of Digital Designers able to ensure smooth delivery of digital content pieces.
The high-quality content packages will be either uniquely created or adapted/refreshed based on existing and proven UNICEF global fundraising campaigns, featured for various digital platforms, including Google, Meta, and Bing, among others. The selected consultants will work on both new campaigns and adapt existing ones, designing static, dynamic, and video ads. Additionally, selected consultants will be responsible for writing engaging ad copy that drives results for both campaign and web content.
These services will be critical for frontier and established markets to deliver tests and develop their digital plans and targets. The consultants will work directly with CODAS, the ECA team, as well as digital agencies, in order to support digital activities. |
