| The Nutrition Specialist provides technical and operational support for the implementation, monitoring and strengthening of nutrition services supported by UNICEF in Madagascar. The incumbent contributes to the delivery and scale-up of key nutrition interventions, including community-based management of acute malnutrition, improvement of service quality, integration of nutrition within health services, and implementation of maternal nutrition and micronutrient interventions. The position supports program planning, implementation, monitoring, and partnership engagement to ensure effective and sustainable delivery of nutrition services. This is carried out according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), as well as UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance, and accountability framework. |

| If you are a strategic and analytical development professional and are passionate about strengthening nutrition systems and generating evidence for large-scale programmes, the world’s leading children’s rights organization would like to hear from you. UNICEF Philippines is seeking a Consultant to document and assess its engagement in the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP). The consultant will support the Programme Monitoring and Evaluation (PMED) Section in capturing UNICEF’s experience as a technical partner, identifying key programmatic and operational lessons learned, and formulating actionable recommendations to inform future engagements in similar government-led, results-based financing initiatives. The consultant will contribute to the development of a comprehensive report, a policy brief, and presentation materials that will guide UNICEF’s strategic positioning in nutrition and primary health care programmes in the Philippines and beyond. |
