| The Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida seeks to fill one Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning August 16, 2026. This is a nine-month, non-tenure-accruing position, time limited to no more than two academic years. The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants whose research interests align with those of current faculty.

The teaching assignment is 2-2 with the possibility of 2-1 subject to course demands and available resources. Active participation in the department’s research activities is expected. | This position serves as one of the Career Advisors for the Levin College of Law. The Assistant Director and Advisor assumes leadership for coordination and delivery of advising for students and graduates of the College of Law. The Assistant Director and Advisor is also responsible for assisting with all aspects of the administration, program planning and implementation of the office of Career and Professional Development for J.D. students, LL.M. students, and graduates of the law school.
