The veterinary assistant works with veterinarians and technicians to provide patient care and administrative support. The assistant will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the service treatment areas as well as providing basic patient care and husbandry under the direction of technicians and doctors. An individual in this position must possess excellent communication skills and be proactive in determining the needs of the hospital.
