| The Director of First-Generation Student Success is charged with leading and championing institutional efforts to support the success of first-generation undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Florida. This role prioritizes enhancing the success for first generation students at the institution from pre-admission to post-graduation outcomes. This leadership role also encompasses the oversight of the First-Gen Student Success department within the Division of Student Life.
The Director is responsible for building strong campus-wide collaborations and managing key student support initiatives and services. This role ensures alignment with broader university ecosystem to enhance the student experience, learning achievements and institutional outcomes.
The Director reports to the Associate Vice President for Career and Integrative Partnerships. The incumbent takes the lead in creating scalable offerings, building partnerships and coordinating efforts across campus to advance the university’s commitment for persistence and successful outcomes for first generation students. |
