The position assists with the creation of social media content, photography and videography, graphic design, promotional campaigns, and audience outreach. We invite applications from scholars of European history across all periods, including medieval, early modern, and modern, and from a broad range of methodological perspectives. Preference will be given to candidates whose research situates Europe within interregional, transregional, Mediterranean, and global contexts, complementing the department’s existing strengths in Atlantic history and the histories of the British and Spanish empires. Areas of specialization may include, but are not limited to, European empires (from the Middle Ages to the present); colonialism; migration and displacement; law and society; the circulation of ideas and cultural practices.
