The Program Coordinator & Instructor supports the mission of the UFTI-T2 Center by both coordinating workforce development programs and serving as a certified instructor for FDOT- and FHWA-approved training courses. This position has statewide impact through the delivery of Pilot/Escort Vehicle Operator (P/EVO) courses, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Training (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Refreshers), and other civil and transportation engineering courses identified in partnership with FDOT. This role requires strict adherence to the FDOT Training Qualification Manual (TQM), compliance with the Training Qualification Program (TQP), and alignment with state and federal regulations. The individual in this position ensures that training provided by the T2 Center maintains FDOT-approved curriculum standards, instructor certification requirements, and sponsor reporting obligations.

Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical and Health Sciences University of Florida’s College of Medicine is launching a new Master’s of Science program in Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical and Health Sciences (AIBHS). This new program, the first of its kind in the southeast and one of the first nationwide, will train the healthcare and biomedical sciences workforce to develop and implement trustworthy artificial intelligence technologies. AIBHS equip students with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to leverage AI's potential in translational biomedical applications and clinical care, including diagnostics, therapeutics, personalized medicine, and healthcare management. Students learn to design and implement various trustworthy AI architectures in domains such as generative AI, large language models, neural networks, and imaging as well as to integrate various types of data to advance research and improve clinical decision making. As a result, AIBHS graduates will be uniquely positioned to rapidly accelerate translational biomedical research, precision medicine, health management, processes, and delivery, and to improve patient care. The Computational Microscopy Imaging Lab (CMIL), within the Department of Medicine, is seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded Data Scientist IV to support integration of biomedical imaging, spatial omics, and clinical data into scalable research infrastructure. This senior-level role will provide advanced workflow development, software engineering, and analytic support to NIH-funded research initiatives. The successful candidate will lead efforts to harmonize complex data sources, apply advanced statistical methods, and develop reproducible computational pipelines that support translational research. Data Management Analyst I 60460000 - AG-SCHL FOR, FISH, & GEOMATICS Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
The primary responsibility of the Data Management Analyst I position is to manage the data curation, preservation, and usages related to the University of Florida’s LAKEWATCH program. LAKEWATCH is a water quality monitoring program that facilitates "hands-on" participation by community volunteers in the management of Florida lakes, estuaries, rivers and springs through monthly sampling activities. It is one of the largest community science programs in the country, with over 1800 trained volunteers, 800 monitored ecosystems, and 30 years of water quality data. In 1991, the Florida Legislature recognized the importance of the program and established Florida LAKEWATCH in the state statutes (Florida Statute 1004.49.); therefore, the integrity, preservation, and distribution of the programmatic data are of the utmost importance. More information can be found at: https://lakewatch.ifas.ufl.edu/. The position will maintain, design, create, modify, and/or monitor databases related to the LAKEWATCH program. The main data type to be managed is analytical: water chemistry measurements (i.e., total nitrogen, total phosphorus, conductivity, chlorophyll a, and color), collected monthly by volunteers from aquatic ecosystems across the state of Florida. The position will be responsible for sharing of these data with numerous stakeholders, including Florida’s Department of the Environmental Protection, and facilitate their use in research, teaching, and extension activities at the University of Florida. The position will also provide expertise on statistical approaches and methods for LAKEWATCH research activities, and support statistical software (e.g., R programming language and R Studio/R Markdown interfaces) use by affiliated staff and students. Additional activities may also include updating the LAKEWATCH webpage and designing new interfaces for volunteer engagement with the program, in collaboration with other LAKEWATCH team members.

This position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for the Office of the Vice President for Research. Reporting to the Executive Affairs Lead, this role serves as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers, manages office logistics, and assists with events, meetings, and special projects. The incumbent supports multiple leaders within UF Research, including the Executive Affairs Lead and Executive Director of Development, and plays a key role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include front office management, event coordination, room reservations for UF Research spaces in Malachowsky Hall, and handling confidential materials. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
