The Administrative Services Manager will assist the Associate Director of Administrative Services (AD) in all aspects of accounting support for the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE). The incumbent will join an experienced and dynamic team of 12 fiscal and research administration staff, supporting $34M+ in annual expenditures from state, university, sponsored research, and donation funds by 65+ research and instructional faculty members. The incumbent is expected to have a strong knowledge of university fiscal operations, cost accounting practices, and directives defining allowable costs for all fund types. Duties include reviewing and approving expenses on department funds, design and implementation of fiscal processes, budget creation and projections for project managers, expense reconciliations, review and management of personnel commitments, fund reporting, scholarship management, materials & supplies and equipment use fees and management of foundation funds. |
