The Clinical Research Office (CRO) in the Office of Research Affairs (ORA), Dean’s Administration, College of Medicine-Jacksonville is looking for an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to assist in coordinating, engaging, and performing research and regulatory functions for clinical research studies, both industry and grant funded. The CRC II will screen and consent patients in various clinics around the greater Jacksonville area within the UF enterprise among many therapeutic areas and conduct research visits as required by the research protocols. The ideal candidate will perform functions necessary for successful completion of all protocols including but not limited to required visits/procedures such as vital signs, phlebotomy, diagnostic tests, dispensing of investigational product, scheduling, drug accountability/reconciliation and organizational tasks, where appropriate and as delegated by the investigator, in accordance with protocol/sponsor requirements. This position will work on clinical research studies across many different disciplines, interacting with numerous research teams from the inception of a clinical trial through the closeout. The coordinator will be required to complete all documentation per the sponsor’s requirement along with institutional requirements of the CTMS, EMR documentation, and the eRegulatory system. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with research participants, faculty, and internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and demonstrates strong proficiency in data management. Attention to detail, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially are essential.
