| This position will be the point person for the New Worlds Reading Initiative’s data, Azure data infrastructure, systems storage & administration, and programming. This role involves implementing, managing, and maintaining databases and data systems/pipelines for the Initiative, as well as managing use of the data to understand impacts of the program, improve its operation, and serve the needs of families statewide. This position will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure data security, usability, and availability, develop technical documentation, data dictionaries/schemas, and support with program evaluation and reporting. This position is time-limited and soft-funded. |

The incumbent performs initial review of all projects submitted to UF IRBs (new protocols or revisions, tabled responses, and other replies to reviewer comments). The essential function of review is to ensure submissions comply with Federal regulations, State laws, University policies, and myIRB standards. Other job functions include communication with the research community (phone, e-mail, myIRB), support for the full board meetings, assistance to PIs in preparing protocols/ answering reviewer questions, configuration/testing, and monitoring of myIRB platform. |
