| UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking a professional-level Regulated Research Computing Facilitator to join Research Computing, a unit within UFIT. The successful applicant will be hired at an intermediate or advanced level, depending on their experience.
UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator.

An increasing number of projects involve handling regulated data, which means laws, regulations, and contractual requirements cover the data and the activities to handle and process the data. These requirements consist of technical and administrative controls, making working in the secure environment harder than outside such environments. This position assists the faculty, students, staff and researchers in maximizing the efficiency and efficacy of the workflows while meeting the compliance requirements. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team to support researchers engaged in fascinating projects that each have the potential to change society and the world. |
