| Reporting to the to the Facilities Services Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor is
responsible for the supervision and provides technical direction to the HVAC building maintenance
program including the repair, maintenance, and operation of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
(HVAC) and automated building control systems consisting of DDC and pneumatic controls for E&G and
Health Science Center buildings. Prioritizes and coordinates requests for services, estimates labor hours
and assigns work to appropriate trades people within the shop. Expedites emergency requests,
coordinates all building HVAC related projects and coordinates with other trades. Oversees the
performance of outside contractors for quality and workmanship, billing, and timeliness of work.
Establishes and reinforces safety guidelines. Performs administrative functions such as budgeting,
purchasing, ensuring accuracy of work related and payroll records, employee performance appraisals,
metric reporting, and other related duties. |
