| The Department of Geography at the University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track Lecturer/Assistant Instructional Professor position in Geographic Information Science and Geographic Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI), beginning in August 2026. We seek a dedicated and innovative instructor who will substantially contribute to the department’s instructional mission and key focus areas in GIScience and GeoAI. The expected teaching load three courses each fall and spring and two in the summer. The appointment is renewable and eligible for promotion; applicants should be committed to long-term growth and excellence in instruction and program development as this position is not transferable to a tenure track research appointment. |
