| In alignment with the University of Florida’s academic mission, the Division of Student Life career design strategic pillar portfolio supports campus-wide efforts to advance students’ career development, experiential learning, and post-graduation success. The Career Data and Technology Strategist supports programs, initiatives, and reporting on student success outcomes that advance post-graduation outcomes at the institution. This role also supports the incubation and advancement of innovative learning initiatives – inside and outside of the classroom, educational technology solutions that scale student engagement, and data-sharing opportunities across the university ecosystem that align with the evolving future of work impacting learners of the 21st century.
Situated in the Career and Integrative Partnerships Portfolio area within the Career Connections Center, this role will support the portfolio and department’s mission to advance students’ career exploration, personal development, and overall navigation, readiness, and success from pre-admission to post-graduation.
The Career Data and Technology Strategist is responsible for building relationships, connecting trends and data while creating awareness of offerings and support elevating a comprehensively excellent student experience. The incumbent will work with various aspects of the university student populations among faculty, staff, students, and external partners. The incumbent works with data, insights and tools to translates learning in and outside of the classroom into tailored support service strategies that improve career outcomes. |

| This position serves as one of the Career Advisors for the Levin College of Law. The Assistant Director and Advisor assumes leadership for coordination and delivery of advising for students and graduates of the College of Law. The Assistant Director and Advisor is also responsible for assisting with all aspects of the administration, program planning and implementation of the office of Career and Professional Development for J.D. students, LL.M. students, and graduates of the law school. This includes, but is not limited to, helping students develop short-term and long-term career and professional goals; choosing courses and experiential programs so that they may graduate in a timely manner, and maximizing their law school experience. The Assistant Director and Advisor will help students adopt best practices to succeed in law school and the legal profession.
