OPS - Clinical Research Coordinator I - College of Nursing 31030000 - NR-BNS-BIOBEHAVORIAL NUR SCI Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
The College of Nursing is seeking a highly organized and community-focused part-time Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC I) to support the daily operations of a large behavioral clinical trial focused on chronic musculoskeletal pain. This role involves coordinating IRB and regulatory compliance, engaging with community partners, and supporting participant recruitment, enrollment, and retention. The CRC I will serve as a liaison to community stakeholders, assist with training new research staff, and ensure fidelity to study protocols and participant protections. Responsibilities also include managing essential regulatory documentation, resolving technical issues, and contributing to study reports, presentations, and publications. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical research practices. This OPS appointment will equate to a 0.6 FTE, or around 24 hours per week.

The Compliance Education & Training Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Office of Physician Billing Compliance at the College of Medicine. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating education and training programs for both providers and non-providers, including physicians, non-physician practitioners, and staff. Training efforts include online modules aligned with the College Compliance Plan and emphasize documentation and coding requirements for state and federal payors, including Medicare and Florida Medicaid.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent and under general supervision, supervise the lock shop operations to provide a secure campus, including monitoring budget and supplies, supervision of personnel and all services related to the maintenance, repair, and alteration of architectural hardware in college/university buildings and structures. The responsibilities of this position are supervising, coordinating, performing, and documenting the operations of the Lock Shop. Coordinates all Lock Shop related projects and with other trades for support. Oversees the performance of outside contractors for quality and workmanship, billing, and timeliness of work. Establishes and reinforces safety guidelines. Performs administrative functions such as budgeting, purchasing, ensuring accuracy of work related and payroll records, employee performance evaluations, metric reporting, and other related duties. Responsible for taking the leadership on Lockshop projects and shop oversight in the absence of superintendent.
