Research Coordinator I 57201000 - FSG-MANAGEMENT Broward
This Florida Sea Grant (FSG) position - the Coral Restoration Project Coordinator (‘Coordinator’) - directly supports the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Coral Protection and Restoration (CPR) program, including assisting administration of CPR funding, leading/supporting DEP’s regional restoration and propagation related projects, and expanding CPR communication efforts. The Coordinator is a core member of the DEP CPR Team and will be responsible for supporting CPR Leadership in implementing high-level priorities and goals and to ensure that the CPR Team’s efforts are aligned with Florida’s restoration and propagation goals as well as other state priorities. The Coordinator is intended to be a conduit of information within both DEP and FSG related to coral reef management and restoration priorities, including for up-to-date information on CPR-related priorities and budgeting. The Coordinator will work closely with key partners, supporting implementation of state restoration priorities, development of restoration plans at various scales, partner planning and execution of restoration-related projects and efforts, and participating in relevant working groups and calls.

The Clinical Research Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned research projects facilitated by the assigned PI. Duties would include coordinating assigned research studies, recruiting participants, collecting, entering and managing data, and actively participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings. Additional duties would include maintaining accurate and timely study records, maintaining OnCore, running reports, setting up quality improvement projects, coordinating communication, preparing for study visits and working with the clinical team. This position will cover the following (Citrus, Hernando, Marion and Sumter Counties) and thus will need a reliable mode of transportation and willingness to drive up to approximately 1 hour between clinical locations that will occur on weekdays. Some work will need to be in person in the counties assigned and some will be via telehealth/remote.
